Calls Over Ridges (COR) is an international non-profit organization focused on empowering marginalized children through sustainable education initiatives. Established in Taiwan with locally operating teams in Nepal, Malaysia and the Philippines, COR harnesses on-the-ground talents and perspectives to transform educational landscapes in South and Southeast Asia with an “exit” plan in mind.
Introducing Calls Over Ridges Nepal
Calls Over Ridges Nepal (CORN) is a Nepali youth-led nonprofit organization established in 2017 AD with the vision of achieving a zero illiteracy in Nepal where every child can complete their school education. Currently, we are implementing our programs in Gorkha and Jiri, serving over 6,500 children across 38 partner schools. Looking ahead, we are dedicated to expanding our reach and introducing new need-based initiatives for consistent and quality education in order to create a lasting impact with stakeholders regionally and beyond.
About the Role
To conduct routine task execution of projects ensuring the educational consistency and quality education for students. The role involves close collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure timelines are in strong alignment.
Location
Gorkha and Jiri Municipality (on-site); This position might require travel to Kathmandu quarterly.
Salary
Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Reports to
Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
The position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the execution and operation of programs in an efficient manner. The position needs to collect routine data in coordination with frontline members, monitoring results and updating them in the assigned tracking system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Project Execution
- Regularly track project data and arrange it using the designated software
- Arrange all the logistics in project sites while conducting meetings, training and stakeholder engagement
- Assist in coordinating events such as scholarship distributions, seminars for parents, soft-skill workshops, and training sessions
- Coordinate and maintain documentations of all the assigned programs
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with partnered schools for the effective implementation of the program and its activities routinely
- Plan regular visits, arrange the content of the manager into organizational formats such as PPT, inform and invite stakeholders for the meeting, take photos and videos, attendance, and minute keeping
- Lead volunteer/Interns and cooperate with teachers to collect data like BMI, attendance, story, case study, interview, quotes of the teacher, photos and videos under the supervision of Project Manager
- Engage with school, students, parents, and teachers to monitor and receive feedback and valuable insights on programs
- Administration and Marketing Support
- Ensure all operational tasks are completed in coordination with the administrative department
- Assist in preparing supporting documents for financial and procurement processes as needed
- Gather marketing materials, such as reports, videos, photos, and stories for marketing purposes
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Development Studies, or a related field)
- At least 2 years of full-time working experience within the educational or
- non-profit sector, preferably in program management role
- Proven experience in working in a close coordination with local government and frontline agencies, partner NGOs, and community members
- Experience in teaching or on-site education-related work is highly desirable
- Fluency in English and Nepali (written and spoken)

- Strong program execution capabilities with a proven ability to work with frontline team
- Command in interpersonal and communication skills for effective team support and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel as required
