Introducing Calls Over Ridges
Calls Over Ridges (COR) is an international non-profit organization focused on empowering marginalized children through sustainable education initiatives. Established in Taiwan with locally operating teams in Nepal, Malaysia and the Philippines, COR harnesses on-the-ground talents and perspectives to transform educational landscapes in South and Southeast Asia with an “exit” plan in mind.
About the Role
Calls Over Ridges seeks a seasoned fundraising leader to architect and execute a fundraising strategy for our operations while incubating a high-performing local fundraising team.
An ideal candidate would possess the following characteristics:
- A connected fundraiser with proven access to international donors and corporate CSR programs
- A builder who thrives in creating systems and mentoring teams
- A strategist with a track record of securing multi-year, six-figure-plus commitments
Location
Remote with some travel required (preferably based in any of the following countries: Taiwan, Nepal, Philippines or Malaysia)
Salary
Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy & Execution
- Deliver fundraising through institutional grants and corporate partnerships
- Leverage and expand existing donor network to secure sustainable funding
- Develop Local Team fundraising assets (pitch decks, proposals, impact reports)
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary face to high-value donors and institutional partners
- Cultivate strategic relationships with international founders, partners and INGOs
- Represent COR at key donor forums and networking events
- Systems & Compliance
- Establish fundraising SOPs that meet international compliance standards
- Implement donor management systems for pipeline tracking and reporting
- Local Team Incubation
- Assist in the incubation and development of local leaders fundraising capabilities
Essential Qualifications
- 7+ Years Experience: Nonprofit fundraising, business development, or donor relations
- Proven Fundraising Record: Closed $300,000 annually in grants/donations (portfolio required).
- Donor Network: Active relationships with education-focused foundations and institutional donors
- Leadership DNA: Experience building/mentoring teams in developing contexts
- Cultural Agility: Ability to work across time zones and mentor local Team fundraising
Bonus:
Experience in South Asian funding landscapes or education sectors
